SIDE EXTENSION
View from kitchen through to new double height dining area.
Working with Anne Netherwood chartered architect we extended this small suburban semi to provide an additional bedroom, study, separate lounge and double height dining area. The existing kithcen adjoins the dining area and the existing lounge has become a child's playroom.
The extension is in-keeping with the existing brick building, with the form roughly mirroring a similar extension to the other side of the pair of semi-detached houses.
The study is open to dining area below and both are lit from above by two large rooflights.

PROJECT GALLERY
The extension closely matches the materials and form of the existing semi.
The clients wanted to be able to separate the lounge off from the rest of the house. A wood-burning stove helps provide a cosy atmosphere.
The dining area is open to the existing kitchen creating an overall much larger kitchen/dining room.
