Andy Hales

An Architect with a focus on sustainable buildings and construction techniques. After working for several years in North Wales, Andy now is based in Warwick and is a part of Grain Architecture, a small company with a focus on Natural Building materials. All work will now be undertaken through Grain Architecture.
Andy enjoys helping to achieve clients' aims by creating healthy and enjoyable places to live and work whilst minimising environmental impact.
Following an undergraduate course in architecture at the University of Cambridge, Andy studied at the Centre for Alternative Technology (CAT) in Machynlleth. His professional experience has mainly been working on existing buildings doing restorations and retrofits (commercial, domestic, and ecclesiastical), and domestic new builds.
